What a way to start 2016. Karan has a home!

Let's start 2016 with some wonderful news. Karan (who we have promoted over the last few days because we have seen her become so withdrawn in the shelter) has been offered a home!! The lovely Susan Farenden and family will initially foster her but we have a sneaky suspicion that Karan will settle so well with them that she may just not be able to leave.
Susan recently adopted bodeguero Pandora who was welcomed by their existing big boy Charlie and we are sure they will both make her feel very welcome. Huge thank you to Susan we could not be happier to have such a wonderful home for her to go to. ‪#‎onebodegueroisnotenough‬

Frisky aka Herby has arrived in his new home

Frisky came to be in the shelter as his elderly owner had become very ill. At 8 years old it looked like he may not be able to find a home due to his age. So of course we stepped in to help. And it looks like his prayers were answered. He now has a fabulous home in the UK and check out that bed. He also gets to adjust new experiences including walking on green grass.

Little Joya

Wow what a difference a good home makes. One of our Bodeguero's has settled into her new home very quickly. When she left the shelter she was quite fearfull. But look at her now. As well as getting to enjoy a bone on the lawn every Saturday she is also an excellent companion to little Amigo who is blind. What a wonderful life she now has ahead of her!

Breton Spaniel Gina has a forever home

We have amazing news that Gina has found an amazing forever home in the UK with Jenny & Michael Whitting who already own a Breton Spaniel rescued from Spain some years ago. They felt that Gina would make an amazing addition to their family and we couldn't agree more. Gina will be travelling to the UK very soon to be with her new family and we hope to post a further update once she has arrived. We are delighted that Gina has found the perfect home and we look forward to hearing all about it! Thank you from everyone at the BSR team.

Ursula aka Primrose

Well what fabulous news! Ursula (aka Primrose) after a few weeks of foster has found her forever home and what a perfect one it is too! She has rescue siblings and a mummy experienced with helping a frightened dog to love life. We could not be happier, this poor girl has been through so much. Way to go, be happy now and relax, you are finally HOME!!!
A huge thank you to Christine Chisholm for fostering her and to her new mum Adele who has another very sweet dog to add her already beautiful doggie family.
