Primrose (shelter name Ursula)
D.O.B 12/02/09. Primrose is a gorgeous Breton who has had a very rough life so far. Her funny little nose is probably the result of an untreated infection when she was younger. Her owner threw her out and threw stones at her every time she returned. She spent time living near and actually on the railway tracks in San Roque station until she was literally rescued from the tracks. This sweetpea of a girl is coming to terms with life again. She needs a loving secure home with someone to give her all the love she deserves. In order for her to trust people which is very difficult for her, when we can, we have been sitting, singing and chatting with her. Bretons are known to be very kind, trusting and affectionate so she just needs the perfect home where she can thrive. She needs a little more work before she will be brave enough to leave the shelter but when she is ready she will be the most wonderful affectionate companion. Remember her current fear has been created by wanting to get back to her owner, despite his cruelty to her, and being stoned at every attempt. In the shelter she has love and understanding, when she gets a little further in her readjustment she will progress so much more quickly in a home. It would be wonderful if we could line up that perfect home for when she is ready.
