Wee Sausage is a very handsome Podenco Maneta (which means he has short legs!). He was left at the shelter overnight as a pup in May 2010 and has been there ever since - he is a typical forgotten dog.
Wee Sausage loves people and has a special smile he shares when he gets excited. He loves going out for walks but he does not get out often enough and is a little bit overweight for his short legs. He would make a great companion for someone. A super little dog.
He walks well on the lead and is very friendly towards other dogs and people. He is motivated by treats so could be easily trained further.
Update from the shelter "Wow, does Sausage love coming out of his pen for a run! Recently we have been letting him loose outside and he just loves it. He runs around for a while like a lunatic and then follows you everywhere. He would do absolutely anything for food. He is hilarious and a real character. He would provide hours of entertainment!"
