Amazing news for Chulo - he will soon be on his way to an amazing home in the UK, this time it will be FOREVER!
Chulo - little 'mini man'
So, our appeal for help for Little Chulo reached the perfect person and we are absolutely delighted that he will travel at the beginning of June to the UK. It is a big journey for him but the best thing for him is to escape the extreme heat of summer in Southern Spain. He is being adopted by Alison Fearn who already has Harry and Colin (you can read their stories on this site) so we know Chulo will have everything an elderly dog could ever dream of and more! Thank you so much to the shelter who have looked after and loved this boy twice in his life, to Alison who for adopting him and to everyone else who helped in any way to give this boy the comfort he deserves in his late retirement.
Chulo was first brought to the shelter in 2007 after being found searching for food in the local area. He was lucky enough to be adopted in 2008, however, after five years his adopter returned to her own country and he was abandoned for the second time at the age of 14. He did not deserve this and we desperately want to find him his forever home where he can be loved and have comfort for the rest of his days.
Chulo is a lovely little man, quiet, excellent with other dogs, healthy, he is good on and off the lead, just potters around on his little legs (!) and as you will see from his photos, loves nothing more than a cuddle.
